Mission Statement:

The mission of BeFruitFul is to empower, equip and challenge individuals to live fruitful lives. Our focus is providing an individualized learning environment that transforms the way students learn, educators teach and the public thinks about education; particularly for those with learning disabilities..

Who we are

BeFruitFul (BFF) was founded with one goal in mind: to raise funds to be used to inspire and empower those with disabilities giving them dignity, hope and independence.  BeFruitFul was approved by the Internal Revenue Service to be treated as a not for profit corporation under section 501C3 of the Internal Revenue Code.  BeFruitFul was founded by Deborah Griffin.  Ms. Griffin had the desire to equip individuals with tools and resources to be a life changing agent for individuals looking for deeper levels of fulfillment.

BFF received its determination letter from the IRS on October 5, 2006.  The existing Board of Directors consists of Ms. Griffin, Shirley Gil, Byron Bowen and Monica Broche. Management has worked with several consultants to focus on advocacy and community development.  Management was able to seek out a number of volunteers, as well, to help in the start up phase of BFF.  Typically, the initial Board of Directors of a not-for-profit corporation will make initial donations to help the not for profit through its start up phase.  We believe BFF will not be an exception to this rule.
